Heyyy! I’m a 20-year-old writer and performer born and raised in Bothell, Washington. My journey as an artist began as a little five-year-old, whose Dad brought a bunch of her little friends together to put on a cute dance for our Seattle Indian community’s cultural event. Despite the lack of rhythm and body coordination, baby Diya knew that she belonged on the stage. Since then, I’ve grown my training as a performer and musician, but it wasn't until right before I entered high school that I discovered the world of musical theatre and fell in love.  Now, I've moved to Los Angeles in pursuit of my BFA in Music Theatre and Content Creation where I've also cultivated my skills in creating content through the mediums of stageplays, film-making, and music production. My dream is to keep creating art that represents my cultural identities and portrays themes of vulnerability that speak to a variety of different audiences.
